Items We Accept

At Donate to Reduce, we accept a wide range of clean, usable items. This helps reduce waste and keeps things out of landfill. Whether you are clearing out or decluttering, your items are reused or resold instead of going to landfill.

What Items Do We Collect?

At Donate to Reduce, we accept a wide range of items that help cut down waste by being reused or resold. Whether your clothes and household items are gently used or simply no longer needed, they can still be reused or resold.

Please make sure all items are clean and in good, wearable condition.

Making clothing and household collections simple

Donate to Reduce offers free clothes collections across Hertfordshire. It is a simple way to clear out unwanted clothes and household items. All items are prepared for reuse wherever possible, with many resold through second-hand outlets.

When packing your items please sort them into the following categories:

  • Clothes (including shoes)
  • Books
  • Everything else (e.g toys, electrical items, DVDs etc)
